Co-Founder of Capitol Groove Collective, Daniel Warren Hill is passionate about the growth of the artists, the music scene, and the community within and around the greater metropolitan Washington D.C. area.

A lifelong career musician, Daniel has always hoped for the kind of community that Capitol Groove Collective provides for its members. Forming Alt-Rock band YellowTieGuy in 2008, the band’s first album would inspire a small indie label based in Waldorf, MD which would eventually restructure itself into music news and entertainment portal Alchemical Records whose mission is to highlight the music of D.C., Maryland, and Virginia within a global context. Hill believes there is a unique opportunity for the DMV to shine as an international music hub – given that it is already a major center for creating and developing relationships with the international community. His motivational speaking platform is built on a commitment to the principles of discipline, enthusiasm, and vulnerability; all outlined in his forthcoming book, DEV: Three Keys For Success In Your Creative Career.
